INFRADOC® infrared sauna overviewThe most important element of any sauna is it's heating source, no matter it is infrared sauna or traditional sauna. What is the best heater type is always a question that nobody could answer. You will find a description of infrared heating elements offered by INFRADOC® and a short review of other infrared heaters available at the market of infrared saunas.
Innovative Nano 360° far infrared heatersBecause Far-Infrared Rays travel in a straight line, conventional Infrared heating elements cannot reach every part of your body. This is the main problem with carbon elements meaning the whole of the sauna interior has to be covered with this material.
INFRADOC® has resolved this problem using an innovative Nano 360° infrared heaters.
NANO 360° is a heating technology used in a newly designed INFRADOC Nano 360° series infrared saunas. Nano 360° stands for nanotechnologies used during heater production, 360° means that all surface, including ceiling and a floor of the sauna is covered with FIR heaters.
When you see the word "Nano" in the title you shouldn't think the Nano 360° infrared saunas are made with Nano technologies. Ultra modern technologies are greatly utilized in the production of infrared heaters installed in Nano 360° infrared cabins. The principle know-how is the application of 9 nanometer particles on a polymeric film with the subsequent sintering by means of plasma.
The principle of work of the Nano 360° infrared cabins is based on remarkable properties of the Western Red Cedar and unique properties of the carbon fibre. The Western Red Cedar wood, which the cabin is made of, heats up from the inside with the help of the carbon semiconductor and becomes a secondary source of infrared waves, that is, the walls and the ceiling emit the warmth, just as in well-known and healthful Russian saunas!
Unlike traditional saunas the air inside the Nano 360° cabins does not overheat, which makes the experience pleasant and easy even for small kids and elderly people. Your sensations are also confirmed by the diagram, which visually shows that the length of infrared waves in Nano 360° cabins is most approached to the length of the wave radiated by a human being, which is 9.6 microns and it works in a range of, so-called «Vital Rays», life rays.
INFRADOC Classic models are equipped with Incoloy (incalloy) U-type magnesium oxide heaters, sometimes called an Incalloy or Superalloy, which is the name of an alloy they are made of.
Incoloy (superalloy), or high-performance alloy, is an alloy that exhibits excellent mechanical strength and creep resistance at high temperatures, good surface stability, and corrosion and oxidation resistance. Superalloys typically have a matrix with an austenitic face-centered cubic crystal structure. A superalloy's base alloying element is usually nickel, cobalt, or nickel-iron. Superalloy development has relied heavily on both chemical and process innovations and has been driven primarily by the aerospace and power industries. Typical applications are in the aerospace, industrial gas turbine and marine turbine industry, e.g. for turbine blades for hot sections of jet engines, and bimetallic engine valves for use in diesel and automotive applications.

That what Wikipedia is saying about an alloy. In other words, this alloy is:
INFRADOC® Incoloy U-type far infrared heater consists of:
Nichrome (NiCr) wire is used as a heating element. It heats the heater tube and magnesium oxide layer inside the tube to the temperature of 380°C.It is corrosion-resistant, and has a high melting point of about 1400 °C (2552 °F). Due to its relatively high electrical resistivity and resistance to oxidation at high temperatures, it is widely used in electric heating elements.
The incoloy tube is filled with Magnesium oxide (MgO) as an insulator, heat conductor and as a principal fireproofing ingredient. Its high melting point (2800°C) makes it useful as a refractory lining in metal.
Incoloy or superalloy with it's perfect properties, such as resistance to corrosion, oxidation, high temperatures, durability, endurance, lifetime, wide range of use, — it is difficult to find any other material that would suit instead in infrared heater.
INFRADOC® far infrared heaters has a layer of ceramic spraying. It is an innovative technology used as a filter of harmful rays. Nanotechnologies are used to cover the incoloy tube with the ceramic particles 1-1.5λ thick.
INFRADOC Classic Incoloy far infrared heaters are spreading the heat all around the cabin, making your body warm in minutes. Every cabin is equipped with it's certain amount of far infrared heaters, the number of heaters was specifically chosen by our experts to obtain the maximum effect of infrared heat.
INFRADOC® provides a lifetime warranty on incoloy heaters for private use of INFRADOC Classic models only. This warranty is provided only to cabins that are purchased directly from INFRADOC EUROPE, Ltd. or it's official listed dealer. Please see warranty terms for more details.
Please pay attention to the following description of infrared heaters, some of them can really harm you.
Most Chinese producers are using carbon far infrared heaters in their infrared saunas, there are several advantages of these heaters:
As you could notice, these advantages more impact on producer than a customer. On the other hand, there are also some significant disadvantages of carbon infrared heaters, such as:
Description
As you could notice, these advantages more impact on producer than a customer. On the other hand, there are also some significant disadvantages of carbon infrared heaters, such as:
Surface temperature is a critical feature to examine with any infrared heater. You want the lowest surface temperature possible, aiming for anything with a temperature under 480 degrees. Lower temperatures mean a longer infrared wavelength, which produce a more potent and effective heat.
These types of heaters are used as a home and industrial heaters and sometimes are used in modern infrared saunas.
